TCTSY
TCTSY stands for Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga. It's an evidence-based yoga intervention that has been developed over years and is specifically designed to address the complex effects of trauma. TCTSY emphasizes choice, empowerment, and body awareness, trying to provide a safe enough environment for individuals to explore sensations in their bodies. TCTSY is grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma theory, offering a very gentle approach to healing trauma through yoga while centering the individual and their practice.
Parts Work
Parts Work is a coaching or therapeutic approach that views individuals as having various internal parts, each with its own unique thoughts, emotions, and motivations. These parts are like different characters within the individual's psyche. What happens in a Parts Work session is for the individual to get in touch with these internal dynamics, fostering self-awareness, compassion, and integration. Through exploration and dialogue, individuals might learn to identify and work with their different parts, possibly leading to greater emotional balance, resilience, and well-being
